Annelies Delnooz has over 15 years of experience in electricity market economics and regulation. She is a senior researcher and project manager at VITO/EnergyVille, specializing in energy market design and market concepts in an international context. Her expertise extends beyond energy markets to the integration of innovative energy technologies within a Smart Grid environment.

Currently, she leads and contributes to multiple national and international research projects, focusing, amongst others, on Independent Aggregation Models, the assessment of flexibility potential in response to market needs, and pathways for industrial electrification.
